The Professional Regulation Commission announces that 4,772 examinees out of 9,987 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy on October 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2012 simultaneously in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.

University of Santo Tomas graduates, Bren Sapnu Cruz and Celaica Castaritas Vibar shared the top spot with a general average rating of 94.14% followed closely by Trishia Julienne Cruz Simeon from the University of the Philippines Diliman with an average rating of 93.71%. Jerard Megg Depra Cordero (University of the Philippines – Visayas) and Wayjorie Acop Depayso (Saint Louis University) share the third spot with a general average rating of 93.57%.

The CPA results were released in 24 hours after the last day of the examination.
