PRC observes Proclamation No. 766 (Special Non-Working Day in the City of Manila)
Manila, June 23, 2014 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today announces the temporary suspension of services in Manila on June 24, 2014 in view of Proclamation No. 766 series of 2014.
The Office of the President, through Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr., issued Proclamation No. 766 declaring Tuesday, June 24, 2014, as a Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Manila.
Manila will mark its 443rd Foundation Day and “it is but fitting and proper that the people from the City of Manila be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with proper ceremonies”, Executive Secretary Ochoa said.
Meanwhile, PRC will continue to deliver its services in all its Regional Offices and the renewal of professional ID services through the PRC ID Renewal Center in all SM Malls nationwide.
The PRC will resume normal operations on Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
