Manila, March 17, 2014 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that office shall be closed on March 18, 2014 (Tuesday) in observance of "Liberation of Panay Day".

The Holiday declaration is stipulated Proclamation No. 430 or "An Act Declaring March 18 of every year as Victory Day in the Islands of Panay and Romblon including the cities of Iloilo and Roxas" issued in 1989 by then President Corazon C. Aquino. Guimaras is included in the proclamation since it was part of Iloilo province in 1989.

PRC Iloilo Regional Office will resume services on March 19, 2014 (Wednesday).
