The Professional Regulation Commission, as an attached agency to the Department of Labor and Employment supports the celebration of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), with the theme “Navigating the New Globalization: Local Actions for Global Challenges” or in Filipino, “Paglalayag sa Bagong Globalisasyon: Lokal na pagkilos sa mga Pandaigdigang Hamon”.

The observance of the yearly celebration of this activity is being led and coordinated by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies. This aims to promote and draw nationwide awareness on the importance of policy research in the formulation of national development plans, programs and policies.
