Towards the Dream: A Journey of an Architect
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Fascinated with various home structures, façade and designs, young Sherilyn Reyes dreamed of becoming an Architect. On January 24 and 26, 2024, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) conducted the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA) in which Miss Sherilyn R. Baniago topped the one thousand eight hundred nine (1,809) out of two thousand nine hundred thirty-three (2,933) who passed the LEA. With a rating percentage of 85.50, Ar Baniago solely clinched the LEA top spot. A dream came true, indeed!
Part of her message emphasized valuing even the slightest/minute information / detail one has learned or received for this may play in one’s success or accomplishment.
As for the future Architects who will be part of the pool of men and women of highest integrity, alertness, business savviness, receptivity as well as artistic and technical abilities, one’s mastery of discipline is essential to accomplishing one’s goal in life. It is only you who can put the realization of your successes and triumphs. University of the East – Caloocan concluded her small talk with: “One should maintain the course of one’s goal regardless of outside obstacles nor hindrances.” As Rafael Nadal once said: “It is the small steps which bring you satisfaction at the end of the day.”
