After signing the Presidential Decree (P.D.) No. 233 on June 22, 1973, former President Ferdinand E. Marcos created the three-man national Commission attached to the Office of the President for general direction and coordination. PRC has been an epitome and backbone for the Filipino people in securing a reliable, trustworthy, and progressive system of determining the standard competence of professionals through the administration of credible and valid licensure examinations; thus, institutionalizing standards of professional practice that are globally recognized and emulated.
Being a quinquagenarian, the PRC continues and remains persistent in its commitment to fulfilling its mandate within the bounds of exemplary governance and excellent public service. Resiliently engraved through the constantly and dynamically changing world, the PRC will celebrate its 51 years of existence with confidence as it continues to forge ahead with the utmost professionalism and dedication to public service.
Apart from the activities mentioned earlier, respective Regional Offices across the nation will also lead several activities such as the Medical Mission, Thanksgiving and Fellowship, Gender and Development (GAD) Program, Health and Wellness, and Livelihood Programs, Tree Planting, Family Day, and Blood Letting Activity to name a few.
Join us as we celebrate our 51st Founding Anniversary and 2024 Professional Regulation Week and commemorate the PRC’s continued journey of standard excellence and legacy towards BAGONG PILIPINAS!
