Melbourne, Australia– On November 20-21, 2024, more Overseas Filipino Professionals were provided essential PRC services through the PRC Foreign Mobile Service during the First Multi-Agency Service Mission (MASM) in Melbourne, Australia.

The two-day event was hailed a success as our 'kababayans' in Melbourne, Australia benefitted from the various PRC services such as:

• Initial Registration for new professionals,

• Renewal of Professional ID Cards (PIC),

• Issuance of Duplicate PIC,

• Issuance of Certificates and Authentication

• Processing of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance,

• Applications for Special Temporary Permits, Special Permits, Temporary Training Permits,

• PRC Consultations, Public Assistance, and other services.

Led by PRC Chairperson Hon. Charito A. Zamora,  the team was joined by the Administrative Service Director, Atty. Atty. Angiereen D. Medina; International Affairs Office (IAO) Director, Atty. Melisa Jane Comafay Yeachana, and PRC Regional Office Directors and Officials, namely Dir. Raquel R. Abrantes, PRC RO XI – Davao City; Dir. Narcival Randie Z. Taquiqui, PRC RO VII – Cebu City; Dir. Julie L. Sabalza, PRC RO X – Cagayan de Oro City; and Mr. Juan G. Alilam, Jr., Officer-in-Charge, PRC RO II – Tuguegarao City; and IAO Professional Regulation Officer III Ella Marie L. Galima.

The MASM, serves as a one-stop venue for various participating Philippine government agencies offering frontline services to overseas Filipinos. With the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne receiving numerous inquiries regarding PRC services, the foreign mobile service as PRC response provided much-needed support, including consultation provision to Filipino professionals residing in Australia. Indeed, this successful foreign mobile service reflects the PRC's ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of the Filipino diaspora and ensuring that overseas professionals timely receive essential government services.
