The Professional Regulation Commission passed the Civil Service Commission’s Report Card Survey. It received an acceptable rating in the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) Survey in compliance with Republic Act 9485, otherwise known as “An act to improve efficiency in the delivery of the government service to the public by reducing bureaucratic red tape, preventing graft and corruption and providing penalties thereof”.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 893 out of 1,429 passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Social Workers in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Zamboanga this June 2012.

President Benigno S. Aquino III has signed into law Republic Act 10166 entitled the “Geology Profession Act of 2012” on June 11, 2012. RA 10166 repealed R.A. 4209 or the previous Geology Profession Act of the Philippines.

By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 2430, declaring June 29 as an official non-working special public holiday in the Province of Cagayan, the deadline for filing application for (LET) Licensure Examination for Teachers in Region 02 shall be moved to July 2, 2012.
